Review:Jill, Pleasanton, Feb 2005: Very friendly people run this DOG friendly hotel. We stayed in a patio room, worked great with our dog Sophie. The room was nicely decorated, had a little dinette area and a nice comfortable bed. It’s just a couple of blocks from downtown and one of our favorite places to dine or have a late night cocktail by the fire. (It’s called the General Store/Forge in the Forest – we’ll review this one soon) Typically, Carmel hotels have a two night minimum, but if you go off season, you can one just one night. Our room rate was around $250 per night.
